Treatments include:
Diabetic Foot Check
This will include an in-depth Doppler assessment to check blood flow, checking the nerve receptiveness as well as the condition of the skin and nails.
Regular Routine Care
Diabetes can reduce the receptivity of the nerves in your feet, as they're furthest from your major organs. Routine care is a way to keep on top of any potential issues you may not have noticed if diabetes has caused you to lose some of the feeling in your feet.
There are many types of arthritis and they can all affect the feet in some way.
Our podiatrists are able to advise if orthotics are needed to help support your feet. We also offer a Warm Wax Treatment which can help ease any stiffness that osteoarthritis can cause.

Treatments include:
Orthotics
Sometimes insoles can help to relieve the pressure on joints that are affected by inflammation. A variety of orthotics are available at the clinic and range form off the shelf orthotics to semi-bespoke insoles. Our team are also able to order fully custom orthotics if required.
Taping
Another form of support for joints in the foot and ankle is kinesiology taping. If appropriate, our team will be able to teach you the best methods to help with any pain.
Warm Wax Treatment
This is a soothing treatment which gently provides warmth into the joints, easing stiffness. Warm wax is particularly recommended for Raynaud's Phenomenon and osteoarthritis
A range of issues can be seen in our 'Joint and Muscle' page. However, if your symptoms have lasted more than 8 weeks continuously, they are considered chronic.
This can be flat feet, plantar fasciitis or other lower limb pain.
For unspecified chronic foot and ankle pain, or for chronic plantar fasciitis, we recommend you book in for a Joint and Muscle appointment so we have the time to address your needs.
Treatments include:
MLS Laser Therapy
Class IV MLS Laser is a painless treatment which involves an initial 10 sessions over the course of 10 weeks.
Patients can often feel improvement after just the first session.
Orthotics
A variety of orthotics are available at the clinic and range form off the shelf orthotics to semi-bespoke insoles. Our team are also able to order fully custom orthotics if required.
Exercises and Taping
Exercises and taping techniques will be recommended based on your lifestyle so that they can be tailored and more effective for you. Muscle strengthening does take time, so taping can be recommended in the interim.
